Kuwait, the fourth-largest oil producer in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, will boost oil production capacity to 3 million barrels a day in a year, state news agency KUNA reported.
"Kuwait will be able to produce 3 million barrels per day within one year's time compared to 2.6 million at present," Kuwait Oil Company Chairman Sami al Rushaid was cited as saying.

The emirate aims to raise output to 4 million bpd by 2020, "however such a strategy requires hard work and perseverance" in order to be executed, Rushaid said. ... Read full article
